Catering Manager: Kent Range 8 (£28,598 - £32,333)

 

Hours of Work 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, actual hours worked to be negotiated with the Finance & Business Manager dependent on school needs.

 

We are currently advertising for a Catering Manager who would be responsible for the school’s catering provision to provide a high-quality catering service across the school, which supports the wellbeing of pupils and staff. This includes meeting school catering and health and safety standards across the school. The school currently has the school Kitchen catering for the whole school and Café 42, which is for sixth form students and staff only.

 

The role will include planning varied and nutritional menus across both provisions, taking into account all dietary requirements, cost effectiveness and legislation for school nutrition standards. All stock management, including ordering. Maintaining and using the school’s point of sale system. Ensuring all health and safety legislation, including food labelling, is adhere to.

 

We wish to appoint someone who is active, versatile, well organised, enthusiastic, reliable and has excellent communication skills.  Applicants will need to demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure
