We are looking for someone with finance experience to join our staff team at Bidborough Chuch of England Primary School.

We are seeking to appoint a friendly, professional, highly organised, efficient and reliable person to the key role of Finance Adminstrator. Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both adults and children, be able to multi-task, have the ability to keep calm under pressure and to meet deadlines. They will also have discretion and a sense of humour. Previous experience of working in a school office would be an advantage, but not essential; you will however need excellent IT skills, be well organised and able to prioritise a varying workload.

The position is for 15 hours per week on-site, working approximately 9-12, with the opportunity for ad hoc additional hours. Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Undertake a range of financial procedures, including placing orders, invoicing, preparation of cheques, preparation of bank runs, banking cash, issuing receipts and dealing with supplier issues
  • Undertake other support duties such as reception, dealing with correspondence, filing and word processing

We are lucky enough to work in a beautiful setting, with friendly, supportive staff and welcome visits to the school. Should you be successful, we will offer you training to support you in your role and on-going professional development.

Bidborough Church of England Primary school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children. The appointment is subject to the receipt of appropriate references and a satisfactory enhanced DBS.
