Temple Hill Primary Academy are looking for a hardworking, flexible member of staff to join their Catering Team as a Kitchen Assistant. 

The post will be for 16.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, working 10.45am until 2pm each day.  You will be paid £20,103 Full time equivalent, actual pro rata salary of £7,432.53 based on 16.25 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.

Reporting to the Chef Manager, you will play an essential part in ensuring our food service is the best that it can be, as you will be working in our kitchens providing extra support and covering absence.

You will need to be flexible and adaptable, and your duties will be varied, including basic food preparation, serving pupils and staff, and of course washing up and helping to keep the kitchen clean, tidy and safe. 

As a very important member of our team, you will be expected to undertake training, which you will be paid for, and we will provide you with uniform.

Experience of working in a kitchen environment is desirable but not essential, and we welcome applicants seeking a better work life balance and greater flexibility.
