Teaching Assistant

KR3 28.75 hours per week (8.30am-3.15pm)

Do you have a passion for working with children?

Do you want to join an energetic, joyful and enthusiastic team?

Do you want to make a positive difference to a child’s life?

We are a vibrant school who put the needs of our children first.  We want to recruit someone who aligns with our child centred philosophy and brings their own sparkle.

Our latest inspection said “Staff are emphatic about how much they enjoy working in the school.”

We love our school and ensure our staff enjoy their job.  Smiles and laughter are a daily occurrence at Herne Infants.  We can offer you a package of support, training and high quality professional development working alongside exceptional staff.

We are hoping to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who can work flexibly within a class setting to support groups, individuals and be a part of an amazing team.  We teach children from 3 to 7 years old and require someone who is open to working in any year group.  We value every child and tailor learning to their specific needs.  You would receive training and guidance about the need of individuals within a class and how you could support them to make progress and achieve bespoke targets.  SEND experience is ideal but not essential as we can offer a support package to empower you in this role.

Our school is a happy place and no two days are the same.  Come and join us!
