We are delighted to introduce you to Orchards Academy, a secondary school that is at the heart of the local community. At Orchards we aim to provide a caring yet challenging curriculum and environment in which the talents of each student are nurtured and enabled to flourish. Where there is a relentless drive to enable students to achieve their full potential. We are an over subscribed popular community school, following the Ofsted in July 2021 we were judged to be a ‘Good’ school. We have been awarded a state of the art rebuild, designed with cutting edge technology with work to begin in the autumn of 2023. This alongside our increased numbers means we are in the fortunate position to be recruiting to expand our core teams of English, Maths and Science. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and passionate Behaviour and Guidance officer to work as part of the behaviour team and oversee the internal exclusion provision. We believe in creating a calm, safe and purposeful learning environment where pupils display the highest standards of behaviour. We are looking for an individual with passion and the drive to support pupils to achieve this. The ideal candidate should have experience working with young people, have a consistent, calm approach when working with young people, be flexible and adaptable and have a commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities.
