We are seeking to appoint a full time, qualified (QTS) enthusiastic, positive and dedicated teacher who is committed to our mission of providing an outstanding education which encompasses our values of ‘Academic, Emotional and Physical Success’ by planning a broad and balanced curriculum to give our young learners the best start in life. We want an inspirational teacher to join the Swingate Nursery Team to help our children foster a love of learning, to take risks and grow and develop with curiosity in a safe and stimulating environment. This is an exciting, yet challenging opportunity which will enable the successful applicant to work with an incredible team of passionate Level 3 Practitioners who work hard every single day to provide the highest quality care for all of our Rainbow children.

Staff are committed to achieving strong outcomes by developing the children to be active learners, engaged in all tasks. Pupils feel safe in school and value the opportunities given alongside the support of teachers and other adults.

Our nursery is open from 9am – 3pm, offering 15 and 30 hour funded places as well as extra hours to those who would like it. Our nursery is very popular within the local community.

 The Role (will include/require):

  • Class teacher responsibility in the Nursery with planned release each week to support planning, preparation and assessment.
  • High expectations of behaviour and wellbeing of all pupils.
  • Planning collaboratively with other experienced teachers.

The person (must):

  • Have QTS status.
  • Have a desire to professionally improve.
  • Want to work as part of a hardworking, dedicated and cohesive team.
  • Proven track record of raising standards.
