The University of Kent Academies Trust are seeking to recruit a hardworking individual for the role of Cover Coordinator & Off-site trips/visits Administrator. This role is 37 hours per week, term time only and is being offered on a permanent basis. Some flexibility in the working pattern is possible, however, the successful applicant must be available to start at 7.15am each day. 

 

The Cover Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and allocating daily cover arrangements for planned and unplanned staff absence. The Cover Coordinator will build solid and long-lasting relationships with the other Trust Cover personnel and will create positive relationships with our preferred recruitment partners to ensure our academies are securing the best staff at preferred ratesYou will work closely with the HR and Talent teams at the Trust regarding recruitment and will supply daily updates to assist those teams in managing absence and to support staff wellbeing. You will undertake a variety of administrative tasks at the academy, which will include off-site trips/visits administration. Previous experience in these areas will be beneficial, however, full training will be given. 

 

To be successful in this role you will need to be well organised, confident, resilient, proactive and will have excellent time management skills. For this front facing role, you will be a highly effective communicator, able to negotiate and will have the ability to offer support and empathy to your colleagues.  You will demonstrate through your application and the selection process, your go-getting attitude, creativity, problem solving, and your solutions focused mindset
