The University of Kent Academies Trust are seeking to recruit a Subject Leader of Music to join our communityThis is a full time and permanent appointment for September 2023. 

 

The successful applicant will be an experienced and qualified teacher with the charisma and experience to lead their department to new heightsOur Subject Leader of Music will have responsibility for the Music curriculum and development at Chatham Grammar and will also have line management oversight of performing arts. They will be proficient in at least one instrument and will have experience of offering enrichment activities within the arts, such as band, orchestra or choir. 

 

Music and Performing Arts is a small but growing concern at Chatham Grammar, and whilst we currently offer many performance and participation opportunities for our students, we are looking for a Subject Leader of Music who can take this to the next level and will have proven strategies for doing soOur new colleague will have experience of successfully managing a team and will be able to inspire and lead them to further success.
