Information about the school

Parkside Community Foundation Primary School is a small, growing, happy school on the outskirts of Canterbury. We have a diverse range of backgrounds and cultures within our school, and this greatly enriches and enhances our school community.

Our pupils benefit from small classes and a high level of pastoral support across the school. Our pupil numbers have doubled in the past 5 years (currently 170) and in April 2023 we were judged ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted. We have made significant improvements to, and investments in, our school site, which is very well resourced.

At Parkside, we value greatly outdoor learning and have developed a three site forest school area, which all children access each week. We have a range of play and Physical Education areas for our pupils.
