An exciting opportunity has arisen for a candidate of exceptional ability and experience to join our school team as our non-class based SENDCo.  The successful candidate will lead on all aspects of SEND provision which includes high quality classroom practice; whole staff training; monitoring and reporting (to various stakeholders).   Relevent experience of all aspects of SEN funding is also essential criteria to this role. 

Experience of designing and implementing a bespoke curriculum for children with complex needs including assessment systems, is a fundamental aspect of this role. By extension, we are looking for a candidate who has the interpersonal skill set central to communicating provision to all stakeholders, particularly parents and carers in a timely, professional and effective manner.  

Applications from candidates which have additional skills in using / implementing Makaton and / or BSL, are of particular interest.  Similarly if you hold additional qualifications in theraputic interventions, we would also be interested in your application.
