Humanities Teacher  – Full Time

 

We are excited to be recruiting for a Humanities role at Laleham Gap School. We are looking for a qualified Humanities Teacher, preferably with SEND experience and experience of delivering GCSE History. We are open to other qualified Teachers with an interest in Humanities. The successful candidate will be a creative, innovative, and enthusiastic Teacher seeking a new and exciting role.

The successful candidate will be able to develop and deliver lessons to support our pupils. They will be an experienced practitioner and previous experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to engage our pupils in learning and to meet their unique, individual needs.

The successful candidate will embrace Laleham Gap School's high expectation for learning.

Information about the school

Laleham Gap is a Communication and Interaction Special School. We have pupils aged from 4 to 18 years of age. Most of our pupils have a diagnosis of Autism. All pupils have an EHCP. Most pupils will achieve some GCSEs or equivalent at age 16. Laleham Gap is a new, high quality and well-resourced environment and the opportunity to work with an established, experienced and highly motivated team.
