KITE College is an Independent Specialist Post-16 College in Sittingbourne, providing specialist education and training for young people with an Education Health Care Plan with ASD and SEMH.

As part of the college's development and quality, we are looking to appoint a new member of the leardership team who can inspire and lead the college in its development.  This Leadership role is also Inclusion which will focus on pastoral, attendance and Mental Health and wellbeing.  

This fantastic opportunity will allow you to be a part of Kent’s only specialised SEN college for young people with SEND.  In addition, you will oversee the quality of all teaching and learning through monitoring, evaluating and developing the curriculum, the teaching and the assessment practice across the college.  

To be successful in the role we are looking for someone who can:

  • Motivate and support learners with SEND, ASD and SEMH
  • inspire and lead staff to becoming outstanding
  • Produce high quality programmes of study in all areas across the college, including, planning, development, teaching and assessment, schemes of work and quality.
  • Act as an academic and pastoral tutor to learners
  • Share good practice through the development of quality assurance systems
