Lansdowne Primary School are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and hardworking Class Teaching Assistant to support children in class alongside the Teacher

We are looking for teaching assistants who:

  • Recognise that our current education system needs to radically change to better prepare our young people for the 21st century
  • Are able to take advantage of the latest technology to support modern, 21st century learning
  •  Want to develop their own practice to meet the needs of an evolving school system
  • Want to develop children as life-long, curious learners
  • Want to build strong relationships with children that facilitate their learning
  • Want to teach in enabling environments that promote flexibility, collaboration and independence

We are looking for someone who can bring motivation, energy and excellent communication skills to the role.  You will play a vital role in supporting our children with their educational, physical, emotional and social development, and play an active role alongside the teacher and SENCO in shaping and supporting the learning of the children.

This role is:

  • Term time only working
  • 30hrs per week
  • Monday to Friday - 8:45am- 3:30pm
  • Paid at pro rata'd KR3 - approximately £13109 gross (43 paid weeks includes 5 weeks holiday pay).
