Schools this job is for

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our successful Academy Trust as a Finance Officer. You will be joining our friendly, professional Central Maritime team, based at Ebbsfleet Green Primary School in Ebbsfleet. We are looking for a team player to join our finance department. You will enjoy the challenges a busy environment brings and will form an integral part in the service we provide to the schools in our Trust.

The hours are 37 per week, all year round, however we are willing to be flexible, and there is the opportunity to work from home 1 day a week.

We created Maritime in 2016 and since then, our trust has grown in strength, capacity and expertise. Maritime Academy Trust is a group of 11 primary schools including one special school. We are passionate about breaking barriers for children and helping them realise they are capable of incredible things. We expect the same of ourselves - thinking outside the box and achieving creativity through problem-solving.

This is an excellent time to join us at Maritime as we are at a key juncture in our journey. We are using a recent period of growth as an opportunity to reinvigorate our vision and goals for the future.

Your role will be to support the delivery of a centralised finance function to the Trust and its academies and supporting academy level administrative functions.

You will have:-

Good standard of general education
Experience of providing administrative support in an office environment.
Knowledge of using databases and Management Information Systems.
Specific previous experience of PS Financials and Bromcom would be desirable but full training will be given.
In return we offer:

a positive, friendly and happy working environment
central team social events
NJC terms and conditions including Local Government Pension Scheme
tailored programmes of CPD
a generous package of Maritime Trust staff benefits.
If this sounds like you we would really like to hear from you so we can discuss this opportunity further. Please contact Louise Mitchell if you have any questions. Email: l.mitchell@maritimeacademytrust.org

Please see attached candidate information pack for further details of this role and what we can offer you.
