Finance Manager Kent Range 7

Required five days a week, hours negotiable to work for 42 weeks per year.

The Finance Manager is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the school’s finances.  We are looking for someone who has a flexible and energetic approach and is confident and organised.  You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the school’s accounting function.  You will need to ensure that the school’s statutory financial obligations are met and that the finance function operates efficiently, applying value for money principles and ensuring regularity and propriety.

A good level of education to at least GCSE standard or equivalent is essential. A recognised financial qualification would be desirable but is not essential as comprehensive training and induction will be provided.  Experience of school financial management would be beneficial but is not essential.  Experience of using Excel and Word is essential.

The Post holder will work closely with, and report to, the Headteacher.

So, if you have a good level of education, and are able to work under pressure and use your own initiative we would love to hear from you.

Please contact the school should you like further information or would like to make an appointment to come and visit.
