The Geography department is successful in many ways. Examination performance at GCSE and A level is strong and it is a popular choice for students undertaking their options in Year 9. This success at GCSE has led to consistently strong numbers opting for the subject at A level and beyond at top universities.  Extra-curricular visits and day trips projects are common place across all three key stages and the successful applicant would be expected to play an active part in this thriving department.


This is a role for an ambitious teacher with strong subject knowledge and a love of learning, driven by a belief in the power of education to improve life chances. There may also be the potential for a candidate with relevant experience to have responsibility for a pastoral area.
