Unqualified Teacher - Special Needs

We are looking for an individual to successfully work as part of our team teaching students a variety of subjects and supporting them with their personal and social development. 


Due to the nature of the role the successful candidate will need to exhibit an understanding of SEN and have experience working in class, ideally with SEN pupils. Previous teaching experience is not essential, however, the role does require team and pupil leadership, planning and behaviour support. Unqualified Teacher applicants must be comitted to becoming a qualified teacher.

This role is fixed term.

 

We welcome diverse thinkers and candidates with specialisms, e.g. Science or Cookery, that can share their knowledge and skills. Our staff are positive and pro-active with flexibility to work with different teams. 

 

All of our learners have EHCP’s and as a school we are proud to promote the development of life skills and social development as equal to academic achievement. Nexus School works towards preparing our pupils for life outside of school and adulthood.
