We are looking for a committed, dynamic and creative leader who shares our passion for learning. You will join our Leadership Team and play a key role in raising standards across the school and taking a lead on Inclusion, Equality & Diversity. This position is a great opportunity to take the next step in your career and join a supportive and successful 3 form entry primary school.

The post will not include a class responsibility, but the post holder will be expected to teach some lessons.

The Inclusion Leader will have responsibility for leading colleagues in:

  • Inclusion, Equality and Diversity policy
  • ensuring that children eligible for Pupil Premium funding and other vulnerable groups such as EAL, SEND, High Achievers and Looked After Children achieve better outcomes
  • safeguarding (senior Designated Safeguarding Lead)
  • mental health and wellbeing strategies
  • pupil behaviour strategies.

You must be able to:

  • demonstrate a track record of excellence in teaching and pupil outcomes
  • motivate, lead and inspire by example
  • coach and mentor staff
  • promote and secure high quality teaching and learning
  • have high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
  • lead key areas of school improvement
  • foster and maintain excellent relationships with Pupils, Staff, Governors, Parents and the wider community
  • fully support the Christian ethos and values of our school.
