Job Title: Cook/Cleaner

Pay range: £20,161 to £25,388

Working hours: 39hrs per week term time only pro-rata

Kite College is an Independent Specialist Post-16 College in Sittingbourne, providing specialist education and training for young people with learning difficulties.

All our learners will have EHCPs and all learners will be given the opportunity to engage in a suitable FE provision, tailored to the individual’s need, with smaller teaching groups to build confidence and develop independence to ensure a safe and sustainable entry into employment and adulthood.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic & experienced Cook with Cleaning duties for the college.

This exciting opportunity will allow you to be a part of Kent’s only specialised college for young people with SEND, and to support the development of KITE College.  Based in our newly refurbished canteen/kitchen you will be responsible for the preparation of light meals, snacks, and refreshments, and this will include devising menus, order and monitoring of stock and cash handling. As part of your role, you will also be responsible for the cleaning of the first-floor canteen area and other areas as required.
