Maypole School is looking to appoint an efficient and conscientious Administrative Assistant. Although previous school experience is not essential, this would be an advantage.

We are looking for someone who:

  • relates well to children, parents and outside agencies and is able to established good relationships
  • Is a good team member willing to share ideas and skills
  • Has very good organisation skills and shows initiative
  • Has very good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Has very good IT skills and knowledge of basic iT programs eg Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Understands the need for all work to be confidential
  • Is committed to the school, and is willing to contribute and support school events

Additional skills preferred, although not essential include:

  • A knowledge of Bromcom or school based electronic systems
  • Previous experience within payroll, personnel or finance

The post is for 17.5hrs/week Term Time Only (plus 1 week) 

The post is for three days- 8am-4pm. One of the days will need to be Monday but we are willing to work with the right candidate to discuss the other two days.  The salary will be £10,091.20 (pro rata).
