Chilton Primary School has an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher looking to develop their leadership expertise by leading English across the school.

The post will be class based with weekly leadership release time and the vacancy is currently in Key Stage Two. We are looking for someone who can:

  • Model excellent teaching practice
  • Support other teachers to continuously develop their own practice
  • Build excellent relationships with children and adults alike
  • Strategically lead and develop English across the school 
  • Work effectively within teams - both teaching and leadership
  • Be enthusiastic, proactive and reflective 
  • Use research to inform their own practice and leadership
