Chilton Primary School has an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher looking to develop their leadership expertise by leading English across the school.

The post will be class based with weekly leadership release time and the vacancy is currently in Key Stage Two. We are looking for someone who can:

Model excellent teaching practice
Support other teachers to continuously develop their own practice
Build excellent relationships with children and adults alike
Strategically lead and develop English across the school
Work effectively within teams - both teaching and leadership
Be enthusiastic, proactive and reflective
Use research to inform their own practice and leadership

You should already have some experience of leading either a year group, phase or a subject and be able to demonstrate the impact that your leadership had on the quality of education as a result. The post is offered at either MPS or UPS and comes with a TLR attached for leading a core subject.
