Job Description

Are you the enthusiastic and committed teacher we are looking for? Are you a team player who would relish the chance to work alongside friendly, experienced colleagues in our small primary school? This post would suit an ECT or MPS teacher who wants to develop their classroom experience as we have staff who are able to mentor and share good practice.

• An enthusiastic classroom practitioner who understands how children learn and is able to reflect this in their own practice to teach our wonderful children
• An ability to enthuse, engage and motivate the children into their learning
• A creative and innovative practictioner to inspire our children
• A commitment to the highest standards of attainment and achievement
• An ability to communicate well and work actively as part of a team
• A willingness to further develop and widen your own skills and take on board advice
• An ability to communicate and engage with parents effectively
• A willingness to develop and enhance your experience with mixed-aged classes

You will find experienced and supportive colleagues and a culture of encouraging improvement from the Senior Leadership Team.

As part of your development, you can shadow an experienced teacher and be mentored in Subject leadership

Shortlisting will take place on the 20th April, with interviews on the 4th May.

Monkton CEP School is a small and friendly Church of England school with a strong Christian ethos, we have 100 children on roll. The school is set in a fantastic countryside location, on the fringe of Thanet and has a terrific school site.
