We are seeking to appoint a suitably skilled, reliable and trustworthy person to the post of Caretaker at our popular and friendly school.

Duties will include ensuring health and safety standards for the site, general maintenance of the building and grounds, project management of specific work involving liaising with contractors, first aid, general security and some cleaning.

The successful candidate is likely to have had previous experience of premises and general maintenance, should be physically fit, enjoy working as part of a team in a school setting and be confident in communicating face to face, by telephone and by e -mail. They will need to be able to prioritise duties, which may involve working under their own initiative and also independently.

Contract:              Permanent, full time role

Hours:                  37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Weeks:                  52 weeks per year (flexible for the right candidate)

Salary:                  Kent Scheme KR 3 -5 (£19,293 - £21,693 per annum)
