We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative person to join our school.  We wish to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our support staff team, providing 30 hours support every week. The hours would be 08:30– 15:30 daily Monday to Friday (with one hour lunch break).  This is a permanent contract for term time plus 5 staff development days spread through the year.

We are looking for candidates with commitment, energy and drive to join our team and work closely with staff to provide positive learning experiences for all our pupils. This post would suit either experienced HLTAs or we can provide training.

We expect the successful candidates to:

• Be able to support in the delivery of high quality learning experiences for all pupils.

• Have high expectations of learning and behaviour and inspire and motivate our children;

• Be supportive, nurturing and understanding with high expectations.

Loose Primary School is part of a friendly community, situated on the outskirts of Maidstone. Together with Coxheath Primary School and St Katherine's Primary School and Nursery, it is a member of the Coppice Primary Partnership which is providing many exciting career opportunities for staff to explore.

We compete successfully with other local schools in a wide range of sports and in local and county tournaments. The children swim all year round, taught by qualified swimming coaches, and all leave the school able to swim well.
