The Coppice Primary Partnership are looking for keen, enthusiastic and passionate people to join our team. We are a small, Primary focused Multi Academy Trust in West Kent focused on achieiving the very best outcomes for the children in our schools.

We are in the fortunate position to be able to extend our teaching team and are looking for teachers who want to join an organisation who share our values. We believe in:

  • Continuous Improvement - because with the right conditions and in the right environment, everyone can and should improve
  • Staff first - because the better we make our staff and the more we look after them, the better opportunities we make for our children
  • Quality education - because every child, not just in the trust schools, has the right to a high quality education
  • Collaboration - by utilising the skills and expertise within and beyond the trust, we can support each other and our improvement

In each of our schools, you will be supported by high quality professional development based around research informed practice which will support your teaching. Rather than target focused appraisal, our appraisal model is built around 'improve, not prove' and takes a self-directed, project based approach. You will also be supported by leaders who invest in your wellbeing and work hard to manage workload.

In addition, by joining one of the schools, you also become part of the Coppice team which provides even more opportunities. Our trust wide training offer complements school CPD and our networking opportunities mean that we have developed shared understanding over curriculum which has had a positive impact on reducing workload. We are also redeveloping our 'Progression Pathways' as we want to be able to invest in our staff and support them into roles they wish to undertake in the future.

St Katherine's School & Nursery is looking for an enthusiastic, creative and inspiring person to join our school.

We are currently designing a new, irresistible curriculum with high quality texts, sport and the arts at the heart of learning. We want our teachers to have the freedom to use their skills in a range of innovative ways and would be excited to explore this with you further at interview.

This is a full time post, on a permanent contract. The successful candidate will be based at St Katherine's School & Nursery. This post is suitable for experienced Teachers and NQTs (ECTs) to apply.

Please also take some time to look through our recruitment pack to see the full offer at both Coppice Primary Partnership and St Katherine's School and Nursery.

Information about the federation

Our trust was born out of a genuine desire to secure outstanding provision for all children. The word ‘partnership’ was chosen deliberately as our vision is for schools to work together, building on their own strengths and uniqueness to secure the very best for every child.

We are guided by a set of core principles which support everything we do.

• We are and will remain a primary led trust who understand and appreciate the uniqueness of Primary Education.

• Collaboration supports the identification of best practice and its appropriate dissemination.

• We will be led by primary specialists with experience of leading successfully within the primary sector.

• Excellent academic standards of education will be secured by building on the strong values and ethos in which children are educated within each school.

• Our curriculum, rich with the knowledge and skills that children need will also celebrate sport and the arts, supporting children’s aspirations. Every child’s time at school will be a positive experience and something they will remember fondly for the rest of their lives.

• Our school improvement model is designed to retain expertise within the trust, providing bespoke and timely support as required.

• We invest in our staff by providing high quality professional development to support them in securing the very best provision for our children. We build capacity and will offer opportunities internally where appropriate to encourage staff retention.
