About this Role

Cygnus Academies Trust is looking to recruit a Finance Officer  to join its Shared Services team on a permanent basis. The Finance Officer will support its centralised personnel function for all schools in the Trust.  Cygnus currently has  8 schools in the Trust.

You will need excellent IT, literacy and numeracy skills, possess confidence and initiative and a willingness to contribute to the continued improvement of our Shared Services Team. Previous finance administration experience using would be an advantage, however, training will be provided.

The successful candidate will also have the following qualities: 

  • Great attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Be flexible and able to work to tight deadlines.
  • Offer great customer service, with strong communication skills.
  • Have a 'can do' teamwork approach.

 

Role details:

Role:               Finance Officer 

Contract:         52 weeks per year  - Permanent (Please note this is not a term time only role)

Hours:             25 Hours per week - Job share considered for the right candidates  2/3 days 

Salary:             Kent Scheme KR5-6 (Depending on experience)
