Ashford St Mary's would love to recruit a SENCO Assistant to assist in managing the provision for pupils identified as having Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND); including administration tasks, promoting high quality teaching, effective use of resources, and high standards of learning and achievement for all pupils.

This person will work under the direction of the Inclusion Lead accross the school to best support our pupils with SEND. We are looking for an enthusiastic and well organised person who has great interaction skills with children and who wants to make a real difference to the support our pupils receive. The role will be a mixture of hands on work with children and administration tasks. The sucessful candidate does not need to hold a SENCO accreditation but does need to be willing to attend any relevant training and love learning. Currently, this is a temporary post until the end of the academic year but this may be subject to extension. Ashford St Mary Church of England Primary School is a two form entry school situated in the centre of Ashford.
