We have the exciting opportunity for you to support our Safeguarding team with ensuring that the Safeguarding and Child Protection policy is firmly and consistently embedded within the school.

We are a large school with a strong team approach to supporting the teaching and learning of our pupils. The role will involve:

  • Providing first level support to members of staff on child welfare and child protection matters;
  • Working with the DSL and Deputy DSLs to develop the use of BromCom safeguarding across all staff;
  • Monitoring all incidents reported;
  • Managing referrals;
  • Liaising with school staff and outside agencies;
  • Training and raising awareness.

Ideally we are looking for somebody with emotional resilience and demonstrable experience of working with safeguarding issues.
