We are looking for an experienced, caring, committed and enthusiastic teaching assistant who has recent experience of working with children in a primary school (including speech and language support).

The role involves supporting both individuals and groups and so the successful candidate must have the skills needed to engage children in effective learning, as well as good behaviour management skills.

The successful candidate will hold qualifications in English and maths at GCSE grade C or above.

 You will need to be able to work both under the direction of the class teacher as well as use your own initiative, be self-motivated, well-organised, flexible, patient and a good communicator.

You will be joining a friendly and dedicated team who are committed to providing every child with the support and opportunities they need to progress in their learning. A willingness to support the Christian ethos and to contribute to the wider life of the school is very important. 

This is a permanent term-time only contract. The hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm. This includes half an hour unpaid lunch and lunch supervision.
