We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and inspiring person to join our valued and supportive team in our highly successful and popular primary school. We wish to appoint a full-time Teaching Assistant, (term time only), starting as soon as the right person can join us, to provide 25 to 27.5 hours support each week within a class setting.   

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an outstanding, creative, enthusiastic practitioner who will bring their own style and skills to support the excellent work developed throughout the school.
  • Have the skills, experience and knowledge to work with pupils in KS1 and KS2.
  • Have a good standard of general education, with a GCSE, (or equivalent), in both English and maths.
  • Preferably have an NVQ CACHE Level 2 or 3 for Teaching Assistants.
  • Have a good understanding of current educational thinking and initiatives.
  • Be a caring, understanding person with a sense of humour, who loves working with children and who is committed to supporting high standards and enjoyment of learning.
  • Have a good understanding of, and a desire to effectively support, children with additional needs.
  • Have the ability to work in a close team to achieve the best for our children and school community.
  • Have a desire to be involved in all aspects of school life.
