The Whitstable School is looking to appoint a suitable person to join our administration team to support the careers and exams functions. The successful candidate will work closely with the Careers Lead and support the Exams Officer. The role will include:

  • To support the organisation of the careers fairs and other relevant activities in conjunction with the Careers Leader.
  • Building relationships with businesses and higher education organisations.
  • To assist, where relevant, with the monitoring, evaluation and reporting on the effectiveness of the career guidance programme.
  • Support the arranging, administering and timetabling of public and internal exams.
  • Communication with pupils and parents around exams and the access arrangements process.
  • Ensuring the integrity of the exam process.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be professional, friendly and a good role model for pupils
  • Have strong administrative skills, especially around data management
