ONE YEAR TEMPORARY CONTRACT (Maternity Cover) TEACHER OF ENGLISH –  PART-TIME (0.6 FTE)

 

Required from April 2023 (to cover maternity leave), an enthusiastic, well-qualified teacher of English to teach bright, well-motivated pupils across Key Stages 3 & 4, to include GCSE English Language and Literature.  TWGGS is an outstandingly successful and oversubscribed selective school and the English Department is well-established and supportive with excellent facilities.  The school provides excellent induction for a newly qualified teacher, but would also offer an experienced teacher rewarding opportunities in and out of the classroom.

Tunbridge Wells Girls' Grammar School is a successful and oversubscribed selective school with 984 pupils 11 - 18 years. The aim is to instil in each girl the curiosity and excitement of learning. The academic achievement of pupils is one of the school's principal priorities.
