The University of Kent Academies Trust is seeking to recruit an experienced and proactive individual for the role of Teaching Assistant at Chatham Grammar, to support student learning and ensure positive outcomes for those students who struggle with accessing the curriculum. This is a part-time role, and the working pattern will be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 3 days a week for 18 hours.

 

You will be part of a team delivering and assisting in the learning of students across the Trust in a variety of settings; including whole class support or identified students on a 1-1 basis or small groups of students. This role will involve working with teachers to plan, prepare and deliver learning activities, as well as monitoring, assessing, recording and reporting on student progress and development.

 

You will need to be confident, resilient, approachable and a good communicator as you will be required to liaise with students, staff and parents/carers.
