Enterprise Learning Alliance- Part-Time Teacher 0.4 (2 Days per week) (Monday & Tuesday)

The ELA offers an alternative learning environment for Secondary School pupils, involving a varied and broad approach with a new slant on delivery . We believe that all of our young people are entitled to an academically rigorous curriculum, underpinned throughout by the development of Literacy and Numeracy skills and supported by close pastoral care and guidance.

Our aim, at all of our centres in the Thanet and Dover areas , is to inspire pupils through the delivery of motivational lessons and to reduce gaps in learning for both individuals and vulnerable groups. The Enterprise Learning Alliance has excellent teaching talent at all levels and is complimented by an energetic and dynamic leadership team. The ELA was rated as GOOD in its last Ofsted inspection and the vision is to become an outstanding school.

Applicants for this post should be outstanding classroom practitioners and experienced in teaching a range of subjects to secondary age pupils, up to Level 2.

Candidates should also have a recognised teaching qualification (DTTLS/PGCE) , preferably with QTS/QTLS status.

The Enterprise Learning Alliance is an innovative school that offers students across all Key Stages an involving, engaging and broad curriculum. The School has educational provision in both the Thanet and Dover District

Working closely with local schools and agencies, the school operates across several sites in the Thanet and Dover area providing individual learning pathways to allow pupils to achieve positive outcomes.

The Enterprise Learning Alliance educates pupils between the ages of 11-16 in both full time and respite education. The school has also developed an innovative and successful outreach service for local schools.

Being rated as good in its last Ofsted in 2019 inspection the Enterprise Learning Alliance is dedicated to the development of good and outstanding teaching and learning.
