Are the creative, enthusiastic and outdoor loving teacher that our year 3 pupils need? We have a vacancy for a year 3 teacher to nurture our class of 16 Owls. We can offer a happy staff team who really put the children at the centre of all that we do. We offer a creative and enquiry based curriculum with the well-being of the children at the heart of our school. We even have a school cat called Alfie who acts as our pastoral support manager. We are a 'good' Ofsted school under the new framework. Our staff room is always supportive with a never ending supply of biscuits and cakes. This is a maternity cover in the first instance, from 20th February until August 2023. Visits to the school are essential prior to shortlisting. 

Information about the school

Ash, Cartwright and Kelsey is a CE Aided Primary School set in the heart of the rural village of Ash. We have easy access to Canterbury, Thanet and Sandwich. We currently have seven classes including an EYFS unit which also offers childcare provision. We offer well established Breakfast and After School child care and a strong set of extra-curricular after school clubs. A strong distinctive Christian character permeates the school and ensures all children are valued for their academic, physical and spiritual talents. We are a good school - Ofsted September 2019 and a good Church School - SIAMS September 2019.
