St Anselm’s is a friendly and dynamic school that is proud of our commitment to ensuring our children make the best possible progress through high quality teaching and learning provision. The governors wish to appoint a well-qualified and talented professional with experience and expertise across Key Stage 1 to join our school. This post is fixed term/part-time with class teacher responsibilities for 2 days per week.

  • Is an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for all children
  • Has the ability to focus on and raise pupil attainment and progress in all areas of the curriculum
  • Is a pro-active and co-operative team member
  • Has good classroom management skills
  • Is committed to supporting the vision and ethos of a Catholic School
  • Has the ability to support, lead and inspire children
  • Is able to provide a stimulating, organised and educationally rich learning environment
  • Has the ability to communicate effectively and positively with pupils, colleagues and parents
