  • Term time plus 5 staff development days, 37 hours a week Monday to Friday.

We have a new opportunity to appoint an Attendance Officer with Clerk to the Governors responsibilities.

As an Attendance Officer you will be undertaking administrative tasks associated with recording, managing and monitoring of attendance; working with individual pupils and their families to improve attendance.

In addition to this role, you will organise and clerk meeting of the Board of Governors, maintaining information on the membership of the Governing Body and advise the Governing Body on procedural and legislative matters.

The successful candidate would need:

NVQ level 2 or 3, with a good general education, including at least a C in Maths and English (or equivalent);

To be willing to undertake appropriate training and professional development;

Experience of organising meetings, writing agendas and accurate concise minutes;

Good IT skills;

Ability to maintain accurate records.

Knowledge of school based systems such as Brom Com or SIMS would be an advantage.
