Advert

Minster Church of England Primary School is seeking to appoint a suitably skilled and friendly person to join our Admin team as Administration Assistant for 32.5 hours per week.

The hours are:-

3 days 8.30am – 4.30pm (days to be mutually agreed)

2 days 8.30am – 1.30pm (days to be mutually agreed)

The position is for 39 weeks per year (Term Time) PLUS 1 week (32.5 hours) to be agreed during school holidays/staff development days (when required).

The role of the Administration Assistant is a crucial one within our school. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking many administrative and organisational tasks in support of the Business Manager.

Excellent typing skills and a good level of education, including English and Maths, are essential.  The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience of working within a school environment and knowledge of relevant computer software. However, this is not essential. The post requires the ability to be methodical and well organised, work well under pressure, prioritising work within a busy environment. The successful candidate needs to be a team player, but also able to use their initiative.

At Minster Church of England Primary School we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  An Enhanced DBS check will be required prior to the successful applicant commencing employment.
