Due to a successful Ofsted and expansion in provision, we are looking for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to deliver interventions in Maths. The post will be full time - term time only plus 70  inset hours, which are currently a 2 hour Twilight session held every Tuesday. 

The role hours will be Monday to Friday 8:30 - 3:45.  You will be supporting pupils with autism in all areas of the curriculum under the guidance of the class teacher.

Applicants should be committed, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and resilient and enjoy working with young people.

Ripplevale School is an independent day special school for boys aged from 6 to 18 who have been statemented as being on the Autistic spectrum with associated conditions. Our school is located in the village of Ripple near Deal in Kent.

We have a dedicated and committed team of teachers and support staff and we take pride in providing an appropriate school environment where our pupils can learn and develop.

Ripplevale School is an independent day special school for pupils aged from 6 to 18 years old who have an EHCP (Education Health Care Plan) with a diagnosis of ASD, often with associated conditions.

Ripplevale School is situated over two sites. Ripplevale Lower School is situated in Broadstairs, teaching a Primary provision and Ripplevale Upper School is based in the village of Ripple near Deal, for our Secondary and Post 16 provision.

We have a committed and dedicated team which includes teachers, teaching assistants, higher level teaching assistants, a range of therapists, administrative staff and support staff. All play a significant role in the education and development of each pupil and work to create a warm, informal, friendly atmosphere in which the pupils feel secure, safe and confident.
