Salary Range: £16,872 to £17,500 Dependent on qualifications and experience

Hours: Monday to Friday- 08:30 to 16:30 Term Time

Purpose of Job:

The role of the Learning Support Assistant is to undertake a range of teaching and learning support activities to help promote effective learning and teaching, under the direction and supervision of the Class Teacher. Our aim being to ensure the social, emotional, mental health and development of the children.

  • We are looking for learning support assistants to join our fantastic team. You will take a creative approach to supporting the teachers in maximising the children's achievement and ability to develop through delivery of the school curriculum.

  • Whilst previous experience of working in an SEN environment would be desirable, the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important.

Qualifications & Skills

Suitable candidates will need to have experience of working with challenging behaviour and hold (or be working towards) a suitable teaching support qualification (Level 2/3). Whilst experience is highly valued we are also keen to interview staff with limited experience but with good aptitude
