Receptionist & Administrator 

Kent Range 4

37 hours per week Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm - Term Time only plus staff inset days

Required for September 2022

Aylesford School is on a journey to becoming "Outstanding" and needs talented and dedicated staff who are committed to supporting our community of students, teachers and parents.

We are seeking a professional, enthusiastic team member in order to provide a high standard of reception and administration service for visitors, students, teachers and parents. 

This is a varied and interesting role in which you will carry out all types of school administration including; 

  • Welcoming visitors respectfully, politely and professionally
  • Respond to internal and external calls promptly, delegating call efficiently
  • Maintain a high standard of service at all times to internal and external key stakeholders 
  • Communicate calmly and effectively with staff, students, parents and external parties
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing post
  • Write letters, parent communications and collate information
  • General office administration at the discretion of the Office Manager 

The ideal candidate will be a calm, confident, positive, experienced receptionist/administrator, with good IT skills and knowledge of Word, Excel, Microsoft. We require a good communicator both verbal and written who also has the ability to multi-task and manage their workload effectively.
