We are looking for an outstanding Senior Teacher, ready to take the next step into school leadership. If you are a highly motivated and energetic individual with a passion and drive to support our children in their education and help them learn new skills, we want to hear from you.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the offer and delivery of an innovative curriculum. The role is mainly non-classroom based, although your responsibilities may include some teaching. This post is suitable for candidates who have proven leadership experience, who are excited by innovative practice and want to make a difference to the lives of all students in our school.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a professionally recognised teaching qualification and a detailed understanding of statutory regulations and knowledge, practice and progression in mainstream, special and independent schools.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the Ofsted inspection process and an ability to work across the full remit of the school and provide a high level of accurate and effective reporting.
  • Be an experienced practitioner with the ability to plan, deliver and design curricula to broaden and expand the school offer.
  • Be resourceful, innovative, and able to embrace change.
  • Be able to accept challenges, inspire and motivate others.
  • Have proven leadership experience and be passionate about driving standards forwards across the whole school.
  • Be able to demonstrate significant experience of working within a specialist SEND environment with a good understanding of SEMH, ASD and associated complex needs.
  • Be a dynamic, proactive, and creative thinker who is passionate about achieving the best outcomes for young people.
  • Help build, communicate, and implement a shared vision which expresses core values and moral purpose to support the school in attaining excellence in all it does.
  • Have a visible and respected presence across the school.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and presentational skills.
  • Be receptive to change and have the ability to work under pressure.
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with stakeholders at all levels.
