We are seeking to appoint a SENCO Administrative Assistant to join our AEN (Additional Educational Needs) team. 

This person will be responsible for supporting the administration within the SEN team and will be line managed by the SENCO and Assistant SENCO.

This role will involve:

  • Annual review paperwork processing and maintenance 
  • Support with LIFT (Local Inclusion Forum Team) paperwork 
  • Create records on our main information system to support the identification of SEN needs/requirements 
  • Lease with all stake holders including students, parents, staff and external agencies

Person specification:

  • Have experience in administration/data processing
  • Be computer literate, with experience of using Main Information Systems such as SIMS, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Be a reliable, organised, pro-active and methodical thinker
  • Be approachable kind, caring and a team player
  • Be a good communicator both verbal and written
  • Have the ability to manage and prioritise workload
  • Awareness of Data Protection and confidentiality
  • Have experience of working in a school would be an advantage but not essential

Working pattern:

Flexible working hours between Monday to Friday, 21 hours per week Term Time + 1 week.
