An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our wonderful team at Riverview Infant School, which is part of The Pathway Academy Trust. The post involves providing a range of duties covering security, heating, lighting, cleaning, porterage, minor repairs and maintenance. Working hours may be subject to variation and call­out at weekends and unsocial hours may be necessary from time to time.

 As Caretaker your responsibilities will include:

  • Opening & Locking the school -As primary key holder this is a split shift 

          6am-10.30am  3pm-6pm Monday-Thursday

          6am -10.00am  3pm-6pm Friday

  • This role also includes being the emergency contact and overtime for lettings.
  • Organising our team of cleaners.
  • Health & Safety - This includes liaising with our H&S provider and School/Trust Business Manager; as well as completing relevant checks.
  • General maintenance and liaison with external contractors. The role also includes some project management.
