Cygnus Academies Trust is looking to recruit an experienced IT Officer to join its Shared Services team. The IT Officer will support the IT Director with all aspects of the Trust’s IT provision.

Cygnus Academies Trust is currently comprised of six primary schools. Five in the Dartford area and one in Tonbridge. As a Trust we are accountable for 2,300+ pupils, 300+ staff and £11M+ of public funds. With growth of the Trust by two additional schools joining in July 2022.

You will need excellent IT, communication and problem-solving skills; possess confidence and initiative; and have a willingness to contribute to the continued improvement of our Shared Services Team. Previous IT experience within a school or Multi Academy Trust would be an advantage, however, training will be provided.

The successful candidate will also have the following qualities:

  • Great attention to detail.
  • Be flexible and able to work well within the team.
  • Offer great customer service, with strong communication skills.
  • Have a 'can do' teamwork approach.

 

Role details:

Role:                  IT Officer

Contract:            Permanent, full time role

Hours:                37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Weeks:               52 weeks per year (flexible for the right candidate)

Salary:               Kent Scheme KR8 (£26,205 - £29,885 per annum)

 

                      

Location:            Based at Manor Community Primary School, Swanscombe, Kent DA10 0BU

                          (with travel between schools in the Trust as required)
