10 hours a week, Monday to Friday. All year round.

We have an opportunity to appoint an enthusiastic and hard working member of staff as a supervisor to our cleaning team.  Our team works hard to ensure our school learning environments are the best they can be.  Above all, we are seeking to appoint a committed and reliable individual who is keen to develop themselves.

As the Cleaner Supervisor you will supervise a team of Cleaners and undertake cleaning of the school to ensure a comprehensive cleaning service is provided in compliance with our local procedures and Health & Safety Regulations.

Main duties will include:

  • Checking the work carried out by the cleaning team to ensure a high standard of work is maintained;
  • Maintain adequate supplies of cleaning materials and re-odering when needed;
  • Report any defects to a senior member of staff to ensure health and safety procedures are followed;
  • Undertake, during school holidays, a complete ‘deep’ clean of all areas.

There may be times when you are required to unlock the school at the beginning of the day.

The successful candidate would need:

  • A basic level of education;
  • Previous cleaning experience and supervisory experience;
  • Able to communicate factual information, politely and courteously.

Regis Manor Primary School is a growing school changing from a two form entry to three form entry primary school.  We are based in the Milton Regis area of Swale on a large site with extensive playing fields and play areas. The school itself is housed in a two floor building. The school works closely with its sister school – Westlands Primary School and the other primary schools within the Trust – to ensure that the best possible provision is made.

Regis Manor was judged “good” at our last Ofsted inspection in March 2018 and the school continues to improve and develop.
