At Kingsnorth CEP School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Midday Supervisor who enjoys working with children and who will make lunch times exciting and innovative.

Flexibility, resilience and good communication skills are essential as well as a love of working with children.

Every day is different and we are looking for an energetic, positive and resourceful person who can demonstrate flexibility, patience and high expectations of behaviour standards. 

The main purpose of this role is to supervise and assist pupils throughout the lunch period to ensure their well-being and safety.

Duties include, managing good behaviours during the lunch period, engaging children in purposeful play activities, promoting constructive play and encouraging an inclusive playground environment.

You will be required to work 7.5 hours per week, between the hours of 11.30 – 13.30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only, for 1 hour and 30 minutes per day. The salary is Aquila Pay Level (APL) b £18,680 and will be paid pro rata at around £3,174.00

Kingsnorth CE Primary School is an exciting and vibrant place to learn and develop. We were judged as outstanding in our SIAMS. In our most recent OFSTED as a ‘Good School’.

We are also one of 34 English Hub school’s across the country. We are an active and leading school within Aquila (The Diocese of Canterbury Academies Trust - www.diocant-aquila.org.) We work in strong partnership with other schools across Ashford, South Kent and beyond, providing support and learning opportunities for our staff.

We have also recently been awarded the role of Associate Research School in Kent, supporting schools in the area.

We are situated next to the church in the heart of Kingsnorth village, south of Ashford. We are a large 2 form entry school with 420 children on roll. We have strong links with the local Church and Community. Our supportive Governing Body and active PFA play key roles in school life.
