This is a fabulous opportunity for a dedicated and organised person to join the school team at Borden CE Primary School which is part of Our Community Multi Academy Trust. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated HNF Teaching Assistant to join the school’s successful and supportive KS2 team as soon as possible.

This is a part-time appointment of 38 weeks per year (term-time only) to end 6 May 2023.

It is for 8.45am to 3.15pm, Monday to Friday, 27.5 hours per week paid on KR3 (FTE £18,425)

Previous experience as a teaching assistant would be an advantage and in particular within KS2.

The successful candidate will be literate and numerate to GCSE or equivalent and have relevant experience of teaching phonic skills and reading.

Ideally, in applying for the post you will have:

  • Essential previous experience of working as a teaching assistant, including working with children with additional needs.
  • High standards of work-ethic, self-motivated and an ability to work with high levels of independence.
  • High standards of personal presentation, punctuality, professional standards and teamwork.
  • The ability to form positive relationships with children and adults.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
