This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic SENDCo of aspiring SENDCo to make a difference to our children.

We are looking for someone who is capable of initiating and developing effective strategies which enable our SEND pupils to achieve their very best and who is committed and passionate about their own professional and leadership development.

The SENDCo role is an integral part of the Senior Leadership Team and forms part of the Inclusion team. We have strong networks including a SEND leadership group within Swale Academies Trust and linking the Central Ashford Town Schools (CATS) network.

The candidate should be qualified SENDCo or, for the right candidate, show a willingness to complete the NASENCO award.

We have very high expectations of all staff and children and would expect the successful candidate to share in our vision and belief that success comes from developing a growth mindset which values effort and believes that anything is possible for all our students and staff.

Beaver Green is a two form entry school in Ashford with a maintained nursery.

The school is sited in a new build with a number of outreach rooms alongside extensive playing fields and play areas.

The school works in partnership with other primaries within the Swale Academies Trust to ensure best practices are in place.

Beaver Green prioritises children’s learning and wellbeing to enable them to reach their full potential, the school has invested in the Read, Write, Inc Phonics scheme, in high quality Reading, Writing and Maths resources and in extracurricular provision.
