Trust SENCO Lead

Cygnus Academies Trust is looking to recruit a Trust SENCO to lead Special Educational Needs at Dartford Bridge Community Primary School and support SENCOs across the Trust, to realise the vision, ethos, values and policies of Cygnus Academies Trust, ensuring our schools can meet their statutory requirements with regard to all aspects of SEND.

Cygnus Academies Trust is currently comprised of six primary schools. Five in the Dartford area and one in Tonbridge. We will soon be expanding to eight schools, with two additional schools in Bexley.

You will need excellent communication and problem-solving skills; possess confidence and initiative; and have a willingness to contribute to the continued improvement provision for pupils with SEND. Previous SENCO experience within a school or Multi Academy Trust is essential.

 

The successful candidate will also have the following qualities:

  • High levels of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Ability to challenge others where required.
  • Ability to remain positive when facing challenges.

Salary:                  L2-6 Fringe
